The Turkish Stars/Türk Yıldızları are the aerobatic demonstration team of the Turkish Air Force.
Squadron Leader is the Major Esra Ozatay (from 08.09.2016). She is the first and only female pilot holds this position in Turkish Air Force.
Turkish Stars/Türk Yıldızları fly with Canadair NF-5 “Freedom Fighter” and is the only aerobatics team with formations of eight supersonic Aircraft.
They stationed at 3rd Main Jet Base Group Command – Konya Air Base, where there are 10 NF-5A “Freedom Fighter” and 2 NF-5B “Freedom Fighter”, a CASA/IPTN CN-235, a C-130 and a C-160 support aircraft in Turkish Stars colours.
On August 24, 2001, Turkish Stars demonstrated an airshow to more than a million people in Baku (Azerbaijan).
