On 25 and 26 August was held in Dittingen in the canton Basel (Switzerland) the “Dittinger Flugtage”, an interesting airshow also rich in precious historical aircraft.
Due to bad weather on Saturday the airshow was reduced with few performances, but on Sunday the clemency of the weather gave us splendid show.
Beautiful performances of the OV-10 Bronco of the Musée Européen de l’Aviation de Chasse, the spectacular show of the Swiss Air Force F/A-18 Hornet, which carried out flypass together with a splendid P51 Mustang, and only on Sunday the Breitling Jet Team.
A welcome presence also that of the acrobatic flying champion in the glider Luca Bertossio who gave the public’s eyes wonderful acrobatics with his SWIFT S1-RBX.
Saturday night, the organization presented the nightly show of Blanix Team illuminating and filling with the colors of the smoke the Basel evening.
Over 10000 spectators, coming both from Switzerland and from neighboring countries, even with Saturday’s rain didn’t miss the appointment with a reborn Dittinger Flugtage. An excellently organized show that has enlivened the hills around Basel on the border with France for two days.
